Thank you for your continued interest in 13th and Fir Affordable Housing. We invite all interested people to apply using our online application. The online application is the best way to hold your place in line. If you have questions about your application, please call to set up an appointment. Applications will be processed in the order that they are received, with no preference for people who apply in person or call our office.

Due to the high volume of interest, response may be delayed, and we are not able to accommodate walk-ins without an appointment.

Am I eligible for an apartment at 13th & Fir?

If you are a previous applicant who was eligible for a 30% AMI unit, your rent price is based on your income and is calculated by Seattle Housing Authority.

How can I apply? Where can I fill out an application?

Our application is done ONLY online. You can visit our website at 13Fir.com and fill out the application there.

Where am I on the waitlist? What is the status of my application?

Because of the high level of interest in building, units are limited. Please continue to be patient and wait until we contact you to move forward. Keep an eye on your email as that is how we will primarily communicate the status of your application.

Do you have any available units?
Yes, there are available units. Have you complicated an application yet? Please go to our website 13Fir.com and apply if you haven’t already.

When can I move in?

After your application has been processed and all your details have been confirmed, you’ll sign the lease for your new home!

Can I see some units? Can I take a tour?

Yes, and yes. You can set up an appointment to take a tour of the property. Tours can be scheduled AFTER a complete application is received.


How much is the deposit?

The deposit is one month's rent minus $18.

How long will this process take?

After completing your application, the leasing team will review your materials and verify submitted details. If they have any follow-up questions, they may reach out to you for clarification or additional information. Application processing can take 5-10 weeks to complete; we appreciate your patience as we get all the documentation in order.

For 30% Units: The rent for these units will be based on your income and is calculated by Seattle Housing Authority.  

For 60% Units: The rents for these units are fixed based off of the bedroom size. 1BD: $1405, 2BD: $1682, 3BD: $1918, 4BD: $2096

Deposit: it is one month’s rent minus $18.
